CPCP Recertification Overview

Maintaining the CPCP Credential

This page is intended for current CPCPs, especially those seeking to maintain their certified status.

When You Earn the CPCP Credential
  1. Retain your CPCP certificate, noting the expiration date of your three-year certification period. If desired, see also the table of CPCP groups and the associated expirations.
  2. Review the Credential Statement of Use and Code of Ethics.
  3. Ensure that you retain a current member profile (member or complimentary subscriber) with the NAPCP, so that you receive important communications.
  4. Become familiar with the two recertification methods listed below as soon as possible.
  5. Determine which method you will want to pursue; both methods require careful planning
