Make the Case for NAPCP Membership

Make the Business Case for Membership

Now that you’ve been introduced to NAPCP Member Benefits, it’s time to take your request to management. Keep in mind that your primary goal is to show how membership in the NAPCP will more than pay for itself in a short amount of time. Here’s how to get started:

  1. visit the Member Benefits page and take advantage of the Action Items that offer documents and samples you can print and attach to your request, including the summary of NAPCP member benefits and financial case
  2. develop a proposal that lists topics from the Resource Center that could be especially helpful during your current stage  of P-Card program development
  3. list the events you would like to attend and key take-aways
  4. review the P-Card Introduction information and be prepared to quantify the savings your organization will reap when they move transactions to Purchasing Card, either through program implementation or expansion. The table below shows how you can justify the cost of participating in NAPCP activities in terms of cost saved by moving additional transactions to P-Card. Your organization's investment in P-Card education will yield cost-saving rewards in no time at all.
