Submission Guidelines for the NAPCP Website
The NAPCP invites you—end-users and providers—to share your expertise by contributing to the NAPCP Resource Center.
Resource Center Intent
One of the NAPCP’s most important initiatives is to provide a repository of educational information, tools and news to the industry. The Resource Center is one way in which we accomplish this goal. The end result is well-educated and informed Purchasing Card professionals and more visible product and service providers. Examples of contributions include P-Card or P-Card-related:
- policies and procedures
- tips for effective program management
- strategies for working with suppliers
- sample RFPs
- program surveys
- forms and templates (e.g., outline for a P-Card procedure manual)
- job descriptions
- program expansion methods
- business cases for a particular card product or process
- best practices
- regulatory requirements relevant to P-Card programs and how to comply
- articles
- research studies and survey results
- benchmark information
- case studies
Do you have something to share that could help other P-Card professionals with program implementation, management and/or growth and optimization? Consider submitting content to the NAPCP! A published submission can earn you one or more points toward CPCP initial eligibility or recertification.

The NAPCP will work with the contributor regarding exact details and logistics related to the submission. In many cases, the NAPCP features a shorter (e.g., 300-word) version of educational Resource Center content within its quarterly newsletter.
The newsletter, exclusively available to NAPCP members, is intended to provide a balance of educational information, industry news and NAPCP updates. Most articles are between 300 and 500 words, referring readers to the complete content (i.e., more information) within the Resource Center and/or other websites.
