Next court hearing on U.S. debit interchange scheduled for January 2014

Wednesday, November 20, 2013   (0 Comments)

On January 17, 2014, a three-judge panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit will begin hearing oral arguments presented by the Federal Reserve and merchant plaintiffs in regard to debit interchange. This is a continuation of the case NACS vs. Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, U.S. District Court, District of Columbia. The case stems back to the Durbin Amendment, which resulted in debit interchange regulation in 2011.
