TransAct! Newsletter Provides EMV Chip/PIN Transition and Liability Shift Information

Tuesday, October 27, 2015   (0 Comments)
Posted by: Terri Brustad

The October 2015 issue of the TransAct!, information is provided on many aspects of the EMV Chip/PIN transition and liability shift. The basics are provided by The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, while several tips on how to move forward since the October 1, 2015, transition and shift date are provided by Steve Johnson of Visa, Inc.

Since communication and training are both important during this time, we have provided helpful ideas from the NAPCP Resource Center. Additionally, two EMV-associated webinars are available from MasterCard and Visa, Inc. We also invite you to participate in an associated poll available through Friday, October 30, 2015.

Sugar Land, Texas, is hosting our next Regional Forum on November 4, 2015. Visa, Inc., is sponsoring the event that includes an agenda of end-user speaker and sponsor presentations, roundtable discussions and eNetworking.

Archived editions of the TransAct! newsletter are accessible to NAPCP members only, but an abbreviated edition was emailed on October 27, 2015, to members and complimentary subscribers. Become a member today for complete access.
