Target Audience: Who attends? Who speaks?

The NAPCP Commercial Card and Payment Conference is the premier education and networking event in the industry, covering all Commercial Card and payment vehicles, including Purchasing Card, Travel Card, Fleet Card, Ghost Card, Declining Balance Card, ePayables and other electronic payment options.

This event gathers hundreds of end-users (from corporate, government and higher education organizations) and providers, who develop and support the payment infrastructure.
Take a look at our attendee organization list to see who came to the 2017 conference.

Most Breakout Sessions are presented by end-users, with a nice complement of providers offering educational sessions, Product and Technology Demonstrations, and expertise in the Exhibit Hall. To stretch your travel dollar, we recommend you schedule a one-on-one meeting with participating providers (look for details in early 2018).

Why Attend? Education

We've put together a variety of educational formats that appeal to every learning style: formal classroom-style presentations with Q&A, product and technology demonstrations from leading providers, and more intimate roundtable discussion sessions. We provide links to presentations* so attendees can review key takeaways after the conference. Beginning in November, visit the sessions page often as details unfold.

Attendees earn three points toward Certified Purchasing Card Professional initial eligibility or recertification.

*We may not be permitted to post all presentations; decision to post is at the discretion of the speaker and his or her organizational policies.

Why Attend? Networking

Year after year, the NAPCP Annual Conference receives high marks from attendees who appreciate the many "built-in" events that take the work out of networking. See the Schedule-at-a-Glance for more information.

Why Attend? Meet Industry Providers and Experts

There's nothing like an Exhibit Hall to learn more about today's products, services and industry trends. So with all this provider expertise under one roof, we move it beyond the hall into Partner Sponsor Breakout Sessions (educational) and Provider Demonstrations (providers' chance to sell and introduce their new technologies and innovations; end-users' chance to evaluate). During our Call for Presenters process, we secure end-users, consultants and other industry experts to deliver and facilitate keynote presentations, educational sessions, hot topic discussions and roundtables.

Testimonials

The following comments are from last year's Annual Conference attendees:

"It was great to see industry benchmarks and best-in-class metrics. The multiple financial institutions were also great at showing their products to see what is available to clients."

"This was my second year . . . I came back to work fired up."

"Very good topics: The expansion of the P-Card from just a purchase mechanism to an enabler to a payment tool seems to be where the industry is going and there were some sessions that hit on this directly and it was good to see (understand and learn). Some basic P-Card 101 stuff was also good to see/hear - validates some of the programs, policies, etc. we have in place."

"I found a lot of valuable information from the sessions that were put on by NAPCP members that spoke on their experience with their P-Card programs."

"Being a new person at the conference, I liked that everyone in this field was so willing to share their phone numbers to help you after the conference."
