Director Biographies
 
Laura Flandrick
Laura Flandrick, CPCP, co-founded the NAPCP in 1999, filling a much-needed void in the Commercial Card and Payment industry. Under her leadership, the NAPCP has flourished into the industry’s leading professional organization, serving a community of more than 19,000 professionals worldwide. In the past 17 years, Laura has worked with co-founder Diane McGuire to support an increasingly sophisticated and technologically advancing industry, providing best practices, cutting-edge research and thought leadership and unparalleled opportunities for networking and education. In her role as relationship manager to the NAPCP’s Partner Sponsors, she maintains the association’s connection to the industry’s leading providers, ensuring that the NAPCP is a respected voice in both the provider and end-user communities. Recently, Laura and Diane led the NAPCP’s commitment to its growing global audience with the introduction of annual EMEA and Canadian conferences and other events, and web portals dedicated to those geographies.

Before co-founding the NAPCP, Laura managed Cargill’s award-winning Purchasing Card program and acted as Cargill’s eCommerce Supplier Relationship Manager. Laura also held positions in Cargill’s Tax and International Financial Reporting groups. Laura received her undergraduate degree in accounting and she holds a certified public accountant certificate.
 
Diane McGuire

In 1999, Diane McGuire, CPCP, co-founded the NAPCP, and in the 18 years since has grown the organization from a fledgling association to a major international member-based community of more than 19,000 Commercial Card and Payment professionals worldwide. Under Diane’s leadership, the NAPCP sponsors research with industry thought leaders, and regularly publishes timely and relevant white papers, survey results and other documents that advance the industry. In her role overseeing the rich content on the NAPCP website and in the TransAct! monthly newsletter, she has shaped the NAPCP’s online Resource Center into a clearing house for the most comprehensive collection of Commercial Card educational resources found anywhere. In 2006, she led the NAPCP’s efforts to create a credentialing program. Today, the Certified Purchasing Card Professional (CPCP) credential is pursued by professionals nationwide and is widely recognized as a gold standard in the development of industry professionals. Recently, Laura and Diane led the NAPCP’s commitment to its growing global audience with the introduction of annual EMEA and Canadian conferences and other events, and web portals dedicated to those geographies.

Before co-founding the NAPCP, Diane implemented and managed Cargill's award-winning Purchasing Card program. Diane also held several financial manager positions within Cargill's business units. Diane received her undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and her MBA from Rutgers University.
