One Card Resources
As both Corporate [Travel] Cards and Purchasing Cards (P-Cards) flourished within the Commercial Card realm in the 1990s, the notion of combining the two became a hot topic, leading to the emergence of "One Card" solutions. As the name implies, a One Card program involves issuing a single card to an employee for more than one category of expenses, allowing both P-Card-like purchases (i.e., goods/services) and travel and entertainment expenses (T&E). Such programs can also include fleet-related expenses. One Cards are also sometimes referred to as Multi-Cards.
