T&E Card Programs: A Revealing, 360-Degree Look at Business Travelers’ and Travel Managers’ Needs
TSYS explores the current state of business travel spending and the potential for improvement and added value in travel and entertainment (T&E) programs. TSYS partnered with the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Foundation to conduct two surveys that provide a unique and revealing 360-degree look at travel managers' and business travelers' experience with T&E corporate credit card programs....
"The primary research behind this white paper focuses on the needs of business travelers and travel managers who have influence over the payment method used for their corporate travel payments. It really required us to look at payments from a slightly different perspective," says Christina Hall, senior product development manager, TSYS Commercial Services. "The insights gleaned from this paper are beneficial to corporate card administrators and other NAPCP members who may not have the bandwidth to really focus on the needs of the end users of commercial payment solutions -- business travelers and corporate travel managers."
....Surveys captured insight around T&E card usage and trends, as well as other technology facilitating both personal and business travel and payments. This white paper consolidates the research findings and concludes by laying out three key areas for improvement that commercial card issuers should focus on to make their T&E programs more valuable to travel managers and business travelers.
