Wright Express Australia Signs Country’s Leading Transport Fuel Supplier and Convenience Retailer

MELBOURNE, Australia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 7, 2014-- WEX Inc. (NYSE: WEX) today announced the signing of a new company-wide deal with Australia's leading transport fuel supplier and convenience retailer, Caltex Australia, to accept the Wright Express fuel card.

Wright Express Australia, a subsidiary of WEX Inc., has finalised a deal with Caltex Australia to build on the Wright Express Motorpass and Motorcharge fuel cards' reputation as the most widely accepted fuel card in Australia. While the cards were already accepted at a number of Caltex sites, this new deal will mean acceptance will broaden to all Caltex's company-operated and many of Caltex's franchise and reseller locations.

Caltex is Australia's leading transport fuel supplier and convenience retailer with an established footprint throughout the country.

"I am delighted to be able to build on the leading fuel card acceptance we offer in the Australian market with Caltex," said David Maxsimic, WEX president, international. "Australia is a geographically dispersed country which makes Caltex's national footprint an important component of our go-to-market offering in the country."

"We are very pleased to welcome Motorpass and Motorcharge card holders to our sites," said Michael Ridley-Smith, Caltex's national manager, marketing services. "We are confident these cardholders will enjoy the services provided by our sites and the sites operated by our franchisees and resellers."
