Staying ahead of fraudulent practices can be daunting. This May 2019 TransAct! discusses fraud and how providers are creating solutions to help solve these issues.

Not long ago, artificial intelligence (AI) was a futuristic term. Today, it is an integral part of audit solutions. AI learns as the software is fed transaction information. Alison Anders, CPCP, of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., shares her research and implementation experience of this product.

Business Email Compromise (BEC) and Email Account Compromise (EAC) are becoming familiar terms. NAPCP members offer their experiences with these ploys that are occurring more frequently.

The storing of card numbers online is concerning to many organizations. Providers are leading the charge to create biometric solutions that will eliminate fraud at the point of sale and tokenization efforts that will limit access to complete card information in the event of a data breach.
