Expanding Travel Card Management Around the Globe

Travel Card programs offer a wealth of value to an organization. When managed effectively, there will come a time when optimization and expansion will become a priority. If your organization has the opportunity to expand globally, it will seem like the natural progression to move the program in that direction. When that time comes, whether you were involved in the program implementation or not, expanding your card program into global waters will be a new adventure.

Global Card program implementations are a unique experience because the rollout process is not the same for every country. Just ask Ruth Gaylord, senior sourcing manager with H.B. Fuller. In 2017, she was tasked with implementing a Travel Card program (T&E card) in four different global regions: North America, Latin America, EIMEA (Europe, India, Middle East, Africa) and Asia Pacific. She shares her journey and lessons learned from the global program implementation in this interview with the NAPCP.
