Benchmarking, Metrics and Reporting

Benchmarking measures the quality of an organization's policies, program and strategies, and compares those results with similar measurements of its peers. To benchmark a card program, collect transaction data and non-transaction data for your card program.

  • as a noun is a measurable metric or industry standard against which comparisons can be made.
  •  as a verb, benchmarking compares metrics or standards between what other organizations or industries are doing versus your organization's goals or processes.
