Get Involved with the NAPCP
The NAPCP encourages members and non-members alike to explore opportunities to get involved with the association. Through some activities, you can also earn points toward Certified Purchasing Card Professional (CPCP) eligibility or recertification. Please review a description of participation opportunities, then complete the online form below to specify and submit your interests. Want to talk instead? Contact Event Manager Rachel Narveson at or call 952-546-1880 ext. 7.

Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all NAPCP events will be held virtually until further notice.

Annual Conference

Typically, the NAPCP Annual Commercial Card and Payment Conference is held in a different city each spring (usually April) for three to four days. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the 2021 Conference will be held virtually, May 10-21, 2021. The Call for Presenters in open October 5-30, 2020.

The most common speaking role is that of breakout session speaker. Breakout session speakers create and deliver an educational presentation on a P-Card or payments-related topic, allowing time for questions and answers. The NAPCP accepts proposals year-round for Annual Conference speakers. Please complete a separate form for each topic you would like to propose.

Session Host
The role of session host can be likened to a conference "ambassador."  A session host will assist speakers and facilitators as needed, assist with greeting attendees and tracking attendance, time sessions and work with NAPCP staff to address attendee concerns or facility issues.

Roundtable Facilitator

Roundtable facilitators lead an interactive discussion among table participants on a specific topic for which he/she has expertise; there is no presentation. Facilitators are expected to prepare "discussion questions" in advance.

Educational Webinars

A webinar speaking role is similar to "in-person" speaking roles, as the speaker must prepare an electronic presentation. Delivery is conducted remotely, which presents a different dynamic than speaking to a live audience. The NAPCP generally offers webinars each month. Learn more about NAPCP educational webinars and the speaker role.

Provider Demonstration Webinars
Take advantage this opportunity to present a sales- and product-focused webinar and gain the undivided attention of the NAPCP's extensive industry audience. You'll showcase your organization's expertise on an industry topic or demonstrate your Commercial Card and payment industry technology, products and services in a 60-minute webinar. We encourage you to read more about the opportunity and download a fax-back contract.

NAPCP Website Content and Newsletter Articles

The NAPCP welcomes and invites industry professionals to submit content and/or articles suitable for the Resource Center and/or for the TransAct! Newsletter. Content, subject to NAPCP review and approval, must be educational and not sales-oriented. Examples include card-program-related best practices, case studies, program management tips and tools, policies and procedures, and more. Click here for complete submission guidelines for the Resource Center and the TransAct! Newsletter.

If you would like to share a press release with the NAPCP, please email it to NAPCP Community Engagement Manager Heather O'Neill. Please note our terms.

Regional Forums

However, if you are interested in sponsoring or speaking at a Virtual Forum, Contact Event Manager Rachel Narveson at or call 952-546-1880 ext. 7.
