NAPCP Website Submission Guidelines

Contribute Educational Content

The NAPCP invites you—end-users and providers—to share your expertise by contributing to the NAPCP Resource Center.

One of the NAPCP’s most important initiatives is to provide a repository of educational information, tools and news to the industry. The Resource Center is one way in which we accomplish this goal. The end result is well-educated and informed card professionals and more visible product and service providers. 

 

Do you have something to share that could help other card professionals with program implementation, management and/or growth and optimization? Consider submitting content to the NAPCP!

 

Benefits of Contributing Educational Content

  • represents your expertise and/or your organization's thought leadership on a particular topic
  • exposure for your organization
  • potential professional development opportunity
  • potential credit toward CPCP initial eligibility or recertification (to be point-eligible, written content must be created for an external audience and offer educational takeaways, such as a "how to" and/or "why" element)

Submission Information

Submissions:

  • are accepted on an ongoing basis
  • are subject to NAPCP review and, as appropriate, editing  
  • should appropriately cite/credit the writer and/or content owner
  • should, when appropriate, provide contact information for the writer and/or content owner  
  • can be any length
  • may be rejected if determined to be inappropriate for the stated purpose of the Resource Center; for example, an item may be rejected if it lacks an educational component and is primarily sales-oriented
  • may be removed from the Resource Center at the sole discretion of the NAPCP, such as when a submission becomes outdated

The NAPCP will work with the contributor regarding exact details and logistics related to the submission. 
 
Promotion of New Educational Resources
When the NAPCP approves a submission (i.e., educational resource) and subsequently adds it to the website, the NAPCP typically promotes it various ways. This could include:

Provide a Press Release 
If you are interested in submitting a press release to the NAPCP, please note that submissions:
  • are subject to NAPCP review and, as a result, may be rejected if the press release is determined to be inappropriate for the stated purpose of the press releases webpage
  • may be removed from the site at the sole discretion of the NAPCP, such as when a submission becomes outdated
