Taming the Amazon—Control the Beast Within Your Organization

Presented by Sally Helms, CPCP, City of Longmont

How are your employees using Amazon? Do you have policies and procedures for doing business with them? If so, are you sure that your employees are following the rules or best practices when purchasing from Amazon? Do you have a way to monitor, control and apply compliance to your Amazon account(s) and purchases? This webinar provides a road map for implementing Amazon’s new Business Prime Membership Program while leveraging the potential savings and building best practice compliance that all programs strive for.

If you feel like you are in the middle of a raging Amazon jungle, this webinar can help. Sally walks you through the City’s P-Card program’s implementation of the Business Prime Membership by:

  • exposing the beasts of the process from implementation to day-to-day management
  • sharing methods of taming the Amazon Business Prime Membership through efficient implementation and effective communication
  • presenting areas of immediate savings and showing some of the new Amazon Business tools and how they can be used
Target Audience

P-Card administrators/managers and procurement professionals that are tasked with controlling Amazon purchases by employees.

She has restructured and relaunched her program, written and published new policies and procedures, and developed new training materials and training classes for program participants.
